Early Bird Sunday Mornings:  8:00 - 8:45am beginning September 8th, 2019

As the hymnal of Old Testament Israel and a critical part of New Testament worship services, the book of Psalms is a treasure for believers across history. Many have favorite verses that they return to when facing trouble, sorrow, or joy.

In Pray, Praise, and Give Thanks, we focus on nine popular psalms. This Bible study will help students discover the meaning of each psalm in the contexts of all Scripture and their own present-day lives.

The nine lessons are:
September 8th- “Psalm 1: The Promise of Blessing to Those Who Delight in God’s Law”
September 15th- “Psalm 2: The Heathen Will Not Be Successful in Their Plans Against the Anointed One”
September 22nd- “Psalm 23: God Cares For Us Like a Shepherd Cares for His Sheep”
September 29th- “Psalm 46: A Mighty Fortress Is Our God”
October 6th- “Psalm 51: Dear God, Cleanse Me From My Sin”
October 13th- “Psalm 73: Why Do the Wicked Prosper While the Godly Suffer?”
October 20th- “Psalm 103: Praise the Lord; He Has Mercy on His Children”
October 27th- “Psalm 110: The Messiah Will Be a Priest and King Forever”
November 3rd- “Psalm 139: God’s Attributes—Too Wonderful for Me!”

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. ~ John 3:16
